Think about Apple and you think quality; along with this, comes excellence. These virtues have been the focal point of Apple’s products and they are not only seen in the iPhone and iPad but on a whole lot of clever inventions coming from the company’s stable. Talking about inventions, Apple is about making another statement with the Homepod speaker and even Tim Cook is thrilled about this (speaker) as he spoke highly of it during the interview anchored by Bloomberg Business week.
The siri-powered speaker is a treasure- maybe for those who cherish sound being well sifted out- that will not come cheap. As Tim insinuated, Homepod will cost some hundreds of dollars and this does not worry Apple- when other relatively cheaper options (like Amazon’s Echo show) will be flooding the market- in any way since people have often love the quality which Apple’s products exude. So, one could surmise that Apple has always acted on the urge of their prospective customers for something different and unique- though human wants might be insatiable but only quality will eventually appeal. Tim Cook is quite confident that the speaker will command great sales just like the iPhone and iPod. While making reference to those two products, Tim posited that Apple designs and develops products that are tailored to meeting people’s need. Although it might be okay to compare these products and anticipate great sales volume but unlike the iPhone and iPod, Apple’s Homepod speaker has diverse prototypes [from different competitors] out there in the market. Tim Cook does not seem bothered by the fanciful- though quality additions- features integrated in the prototypes from some notable competitors.
Furthermore, Tim Cook pointedly stated that having something that produces quality sound does appear pleasurable to human- good sound makes good music. Reminiscing on his childhood days, he highlighted that audio has always been an integral part of life with folks partying to great tunes. So, going for a Homepod to have a pleasant sound experience will not be for the insignia [of Apple] alone but rather for the mark of excellence.
You might not know [in full details] what you can get from Apple’s Homepod but Tim Cook is sure of one thing: when you get to see and hear it (the Homepod), you will definitely love to have it in your home or even on the go. So, let’s rock ‘n’ roll
