All right you are tired of wave shooters while playing VR games aren’t you? The main problem with VR games are related to movement as it’s very difficult to handle. In case, you move the too fast, you will become tired and exhausted very quickly. Well, VR game developers working hard and soul to solve this problem. Developers first introduce teleportation in VR. This teleportation technology points the spot that you see and instantly draw you to that spot. It is a very good solution and many tech experts appreciate it. But this technology ruins the immersion of virtual reality.
Vindicta, HTC Vive shooter from Game cooks, has introduced a new concept. I think it’s ideal for quick movement and it based on swinging your arms.
Working Mechanism of Vindicta VR Shooter
You have to hold the Vive’s touch-pad to move in the game. Slowly move the touch-pad if you like to move slowly in the game. On the other hand, move your arms quickly when you need to move fast in the game. This will give you feeling as if you are actually running in a place. It is very hard to adapt to it for the first time. And give you little bit odd feelings. But it not lasts for longer to get hang of it. The direction of movement depends completely on your head movement and where your head pointing. If you turn your head left or right, it will also turn that way simultaneously. To move back in the game, you have to completely turn around to your back and after that, you have to swing your arms.
Gameplay and Story
In this VR game, you play the role of an agent who is sent to infiltrate a wicked corporation that is producing evil killing robots. You will find yourself in face to face battles between those evil robots. Both swinging and touchpad locomotion option make the gameplay more fun and easy. You will find eight different type of enemy and ten different types of weapons to kill the enemy. You have to face flying drones and robotic crawling spiders that will edge towards you. Moreover, there is also a scoring system in each level.
Release date of Vindicta
You will be a lucky person if you already have a ready-made Vive setup at your home. As Game Cooks announced that they will release the early access version of Vindicta on June 20. Only you have to spend 30$ for it.
